2026 Great Ideas in Education Conference

Cindy Miles serves as the President/CEO for the Urban League of Kansas. Cindy is also the founder of the Kansas Alliance for Nonprofits and the owner of 501c Consulting and the Slumber Party Place. She has been providing mentoring and consulting for nonprofits and small businesses across the country for the past 15 years and specializes in working with both nonprofit startups and rebuilding organizations. She is also a community advocate and advocates on behalf of children and individuals who are abused, those who suffer from mental illness and addiction as well as underserved communities. Cindy is passionate about serving the community and serves on numerous nonprofit boards and committees including the Wichita/Sedgwick County Metropolitan Area Planning Commission, Wichita Coalition for Child Abuse Prevention, Sedgwick County Alliance for Drug Endangered Children, Kansas Volunteer Commission and many more. Cindy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing from Wichita State University and a Master of Business Administration from Newman University and also has certifications from BoardSource and the Lily School of Philanthropy.
