Standards alignment goes beyond simply identifying the standard. In this session, participants will review KSDE’s Math Standards Alignment Toolkit to clarify the intent, concepts, and skills within the standards. We will also examine Performance Level Descriptors (PLDs) to better understand the depth and rigor expected on assessments. Together, these tools help educators identify clear instructional targets that support students in meeting—and exceeding—grade-level expectations.
